About Us

“Super Talk Mississippi started as an idea of having a station in Jackson as a MS Net News affiliate (MS Net, formerly the Mississippi News Network and Super Talk Mississippi are owned by Telesouth Communications), to carry our news. So, we acquired a license and launched WFMN-FM 97.3, Super Talk Mississippi on July 7, 1997. We had absolutely no idea that it would grow the way that it has. Since then we have added WFMM-FM 97.3 Hattiesburg, WTCD-FM 96.9 Greenwood, WTMN-FM 105.5 Oxford, WXRZ-FM 94.3 Corinth, WKBB-FM 100.9 West Point and WRQO-FM 102.1 Monticello-Brookhaven. That’s 7 FM stations that we own broadcasting the Super Talk Mississippi Radio Network. For the first time in Mississippi History, the citizens of our state have a voice that is being heard, changing and reshaping politics, opinions, and even exposing corruption, it’s no longer politics as usual. Our goal is to have statewide coverage of the Super Talk Network within the next 18 months. We will be heard in all 82 counties, from the foothills of the Appalachians to the to the Gulf Coast to the Yazoo-Mississippi Delta. Super Talk Mississippi is Shakin’ it up!”
